Empowering Terry
Terry has been with FHC for many years now and it has always been his goal to live in a bungalow where he can have a pet cat and live unsupported. Over the last year, Terry and his support team have made huge progress towards reaching this achievement. Terry has now found the perfect bungalow which he will be moving into in the very near future.
“The day I viewed the bungalow that my friend Nigel had taken me to see, I loved it. It’s got a lovely little garden at the front, two bedrooms, lounge, a large kitchen, bathroom and a big back garden. It is great and I can’t wait to move in.
My friend Paul came round that day I made him a cup of coffee in his cup and told him all about it, it’s even got a cat flap already at the back door and I can get a little cat when I move in.
Paul will help me move and we will need a big van for all my stuff. I’ve planned which bedroom I will have and where all my stuff will go. I want a red kitchen and a banana yellow bedroom.
I know it will take some time to sort all the paperwork and to start with, the staff will come with me but I am so excited and cannot wait to get packed up and move into what will be my forever last bungalow and I can’t wait to invite my friends round to see me in my new home” – Terry
